Justification

Justification

A functional governance framework will clarify roles, streamline coordination, and ensure that all actors operate under harmonised standards. Integrated coordination mechanisms will reduce duplication, improve information flow, and enhance collective ownership of reforms. A national reporting framework will ensure consistent, timely, and evidence‑based tracking of reform progress across MDAs.

This reform area directly supports the Department’s strategic objectives by improving coordination, strengthening implementation oversight, and enhancing monitoring and evaluation of reforms. It also contributes to improved public service delivery by ensuring that reforms are managed systematically, decisions are informed by reliable data, and accountability mechanisms are strengthened at all levels.
