Justification
A robust policy and legal framework will provide the foundation for improved planning, management, and oversight of reforms, thereby supporting the Department’s strategic objectives of enhancing reform coordination, mainstreaming the reform agenda, and improving public service delivery.
It will also strengthen accountability mechanisms, promote standardisation, and ensure that reforms contribute meaningfully to improved governance, service delivery, and national development outcomes.
